Full Service Interior Design: THE PROCESS
Abby will meet with you at your home to learn more about the scope of your project. Next she will work up a preliminary plan with an inspiration image and a scaled layout and suggestion of materials. After this checkpoint meets with approval she will put together a customized, very specific plan of action to meet your goals. Most plans involve finished layouts with specific furnishings, color palette and surface treatments, lighting, art, draperies, bedding, plants and things of that nature. If there are recommendations made for remodeling she will share her references with you to receive bids on these projects. The next step is to collect payment for new furnishings and place orders for any new items needed while all the surfaces such as painted walls, new flooring, doors and hardware are being prepared. Usually we wait until all of your new items have arrived (to either our warehouse or your home) before scheduling an installation time. During installations Abby brings a handy man or assistant and manages placement of furnishings, rugs, art, and lighting, brings in plants and arranges all surfaces and book shelves to look their best. The aim is to create a finished look that reflects your personality and values while supporting all of your household activities. Abby's joy is in creating spaces that comfort, inspire and make you feel good!
"I travel to market each year and work with wonderful showrooms and wholesale vendors that allow me to offer quality furnishings at exceptional prices to my design clients. This usually makes my clients very happy!" - Abby

Walk & Talk Consultation: THE PROCESS
Now that you've had an hour or two with Abby in a Walk & Talk consultation your creative design juices are flowing and you probably have a specific list of tasks that may also include a shopping list for new purchases. She's happy to share with you were she likes to shop and who to call to help with any projects you've discussed. At that point you may also decide if you want her to source any of these items for you or to what extent you may need her help with installation. Abby is always happy to help as little or as much as you like.
